About Brianna Clara

Brianna Clara is a Dominican American artist, writer, event coordinator from Harlem, New York City. She has a BA in English and a MSc in Creative Writing from The Univeristy of Edinburgh.

Brianna published her first poetry collection When Does The Haunting End through Bottlecap Press in 2022. She is the founder of BIPOC Poetry Night, an arts organzition that has curated and hosted literary programming across the US and the UK.

In addition to her creative practice, Brianna works in arts programming and cultural production, most recently serving as Festival Operations Manager for the New York Black and African Literature Festival, where she leads partnerships, logistics, and large-scale event execution.
